Featuring the mach 2 line-up of Cindy Kaza, Keith Foley, Dan Shure, Mike Walsh and Chris O'Neill, 2003's Primeordia captures the sound of a band on the move. 11 original songs and what writer Martin England refered to as a "car chase of musical styles"make up this eclectic and electric offering of jazz/rock/soul/grooves. Recorded in Barrington NH by Josh DiJoseph. Co-produced by O'Neill/DiJoseph.

Purchase Primeordia

3-stylin' hit in the winter of 2007 and is the trio stripped down in the studio with no overdubs or additional tracking. Purchase 3-stylin'

All instrumental acoustic tracks done in single takes in the winter of 2006. This was originally a project for the RPM challenge put on by the WIRE to create a CD in one month. Several styles of finger and flatpicking are covered with simplicity and grace running the full range of emotional and musical content.

Purchase "Truth is..."

In the late '90's Guitarists Chris O'Neill and Fran Mason created the Friday Night Haircuts duo and performed hundreds of gigs around New England before recording their material. Backed up by drummer Kenny Sharples and bassist Keith Foley, the material ranges from hard fusion to orchestrated rock with dynamics and taste to spare.

Purchase Friday Night Haircuts

The Amorphous Band is a steam roller of funk, jazz and jam, reaching out to grab a hand and pull you onto the dance floor.  “Primeordia” is an 11-track car chase of musical styles, each luring the listener into the next, with hairpin musicianship (can you say Freaks?) and the finest female vocalist this side of Gwen Stefani.

-Martin England

The tight jazz grooves coming from O’Neill’s guitar and Donahue’s kit blend well with the elements of subtle funk that is masterfully composed by Foley.
These meshing elements set the mood for a record that you can straight out crank to full volume and rock to or just have playing in the background at a social gathering.

-Chris Hislop

This is really great material played by a really great player.

-John Nolan

well, me and Fran like it a lot...
