Guitarist/Producer Chris O'Neill "formed" the Amorphous Band in 1995 and created a permanent underground of players who have inspired a sound and life all their own. With a two year residency at Dover NH's Barley Pub, (12/01-2/04) a line-up gelled and the band became a staple on the NE circuit, playing gigs from Bar Harbor to Block Island, Burlington to Brookline and everywhere in between.

Bassist Keith Foley is much more than just the guy holding down the low end of the jam. His use of 6 & 7 string basses, (both fretted and fretless) gives our music a whole spectrum of tones and textures unimaginable through any other source. Keith's playing has been featured on dozens of local recordings, and most notably with composer Tim Janis' work alongside The London Symphony string section. The nicest guy you will ever meet, come say hi to Keith at one of our shows.

Mike Walsh, featured on Primeordia, has played several hundred gigs with the band, starting with Friday Night Haircuts dates and continuing on through our triumphant residency at Dover NH's Barley Pub 12/14/01-1/30/04.

Eric Donnelly has played close to 100 gigs with us on the keys and is known for his solid gospel inspired work. A fine drummer as well, he has saved the night on more than one occasion by filling in on the skins.

Raised in Plymouth NH, Cindy Kaza was the soul phenomenom behind the sound of the Amorphous Band from 2001 until 2006. At once able to blow your hair back with raw vocal power and sooth with warm vibrato and a sensitive voice, Cindy lit up the stage when she performed with us, and was captured on 2003's Primeordia. Currently residing in Nashville TN, look for Cindy infrequently on our calendar, but make sure you are there when it happens!

Raised in a musical family, Mica Peterson is completely at home on stage with the band and has a habit of warming up the room real quick with her powerful soul vocals. Doing double duty with her dad's band: Rhythm Method, Mica keeps a full schedule and joins us a couple of times a month to rock out and have a great time.

Paul Donahue has been with the Amorphous Band for five years now. Having been the back-up drummer on many stellar gigs, including our CD release for Primeordia, "PJ" was a natural fit to take over as full time percussionist.

Mike Effenberger - keys. A recent graduate of the New School Conservatory for Music in NYC, Mike brings the magic of the Fender Rhodes keyboard alive through deep musical knowledge and deft command of analog and digital circuitry. His presence in the band is growing with every gig and you will soon understand why we are so happy to have him aboard.
Here's Mike with us at the Stone Church: "Gordie"

A keyboardist from the age of 5, Dan Shure has made a name for himself in the Seacoast NH area by being an in-demand solo pianist, a member of the Amorphous Band and a co-founder of Acid-Jazz/House Music project Analog Method. He most recently led hip hop phenoms "The Press" to a very succesful two year run in the Boston area.
And here's Dan playing it cool on 2003's Primeordia: "Adapt"

Vocalist Gina Alibrio has been singing with the band for almost a year now and helps keep up the standard of excellent vocals with a blue-eyed soul delivery that keeps right in swing with our thing. Hailing from Bedford NH, Gina has a degree in Theatre from Emerson College in Boston and is creating a project of her own in which she plays keys and sings. Look for a recording of Gina with the Amorphous Band on this page in the near future.
The newest member of the band is drummer and singer George "The Buddha" Laliotis. Concord's Laliotis brothers have long been a staple of the NH original music scene and George is as confident singing our tunes as he is with Stevie Wonder, Jamiriquoi and even the Grateful Dead. Check back for a recording of George with the band soon!
