Amorphous Avant Productions is the home of the Amorphous Band and the music of guitarist/producer Chris O'Neill. "Formed" in 1995 to create a community of musicians to produce an ever changing core of material and present it in many musical formats from solo and duo performances and recordings to full band tours and residencies this project has won the praise and loyalty of a large New England based crowd. Over the years the band has shared the stage with Robert Cray and John Hiatt, Soulive, Tim Reynolds, The Headhunters, The New Deal, PBS, The Bad Plus, The Duo, Jacob Fred Jazz Odyssey, Johnny A. and many more. Each player brings a sound and a soul to the band and helps transform the music while a signature quality unites it all and brings form from chaos. With solid connections to music lovers of all ages and types, the Amorphous Band goes in between late night music festivals, jazz brunches, weddings and benfits with ease and sometimes all in one day. Mainaining a full time calendar that brings them all over New England and beyond, the band can be found wherever people want to hear that distinctive sound and feel the groove of the Amorphous Band.
